DEFINITION

(Old fashioned) Physical, emotional or financial vulnerability. A weak point. Unprotected weakness. The phrase proclaims a very strong person but with a glaring weakness that can be taken advantage of by enemies. (Reference to Greek mythological figure of Achilles who was invincible except for his heels)
