DEFINITION

False idols. Poor judgment.  Do not be mislead by surface beauty. Images can be misleading. Don’t rate something only because it appears to be valuable without testing or examining it. As a child, my son found a shiny rock in the mountains that he supposed was gold, but it was actually what is called ‘fools gold’ because it is similar but of no value. (Contrast to Face Value).
