Bend your nose out of shape

DEFINITION

Troubled. Upset; implies that someone has gotten overly mad over a seemingly minor mishap. Forced to behave a certain way. Harassed, angered. Imagine a cartoon where someone is so harried or irritated that their nose is squeezed or twisted out of shape.  (Compare to Blow a fuse, Fly off the handle or Up in arms.) {see 50 Levels of Anger video}
