Blow off

Ignore someone or a situation. ‘Blow’ is used in the sense of dispensing with someone’s concerns, letting the wind take away whatever someone said or did. A rude and decisive intention to disregard something. (Compare to Brush off or Cold shoulder.)

“I started to talk to the pretty girl at school and she just walked away without saying a word. She just blew me off as if I did not exist.”
