Flip a coin

Allow random chance to decide an outcome. Arbitrary decision making. Flipping a coin (heads on one side and tails on the other) is a time-honored method between rivals to help decide something, such as who goes first in a chess game. (compare to Take a stab or Let the chips fall where they may.)

“I don’t know which road to take so let’s flip a coin.”
