DEFINITION

Learn. Understand and remember. Also used as ‘Get it through one’s skull”. Often used in a derogatory manner as if someone is too, too stupid to know something.  If it is in  your head/brain then it is finally something you know and understand.

“Can’t you get it into your head, I don’t want to go to Paris with you.”
