DEFINITION

Unintentional loss of contact with someone. Overtime we may lose touch with old friends from years earlier, not because of anger but simply busy with our lives.(Contrast with Lose sight of or Lose one’s way.)

“Ever since she moved to Europe, we just lost touch and I don’t know where she is or how she is doing.”
