Pablum

DEFINITION

Useless advice. Biased information. Tasteless nourishment. Nonsense. Pablum was a brand of nourishing but bland baby food in the 1950’s, so it’s reference is a reminder of something not wonderful. (Compare to Meh.)

“Don’t believe the pablum your boss is feeding you.”
