Actions to benefit political power. A politician’s logic. Making decisions or publicity activities that will benefit a politicians political standing. Much of Shakespeare’s plays revolve around the political calculus of good and bad royalty. Voting for a law to hand out money to the public would be an overt example of political calculus to win future votes.
