DEFINITION

Real control is not as perceived. Something or someone small controls something or someone bigger. It’s a reversal of a dog wagging it’s tail, if the tail is wagging the dog, then circumstances have drastically changed.

“The new parents let the tail wag the dog by doing whatever their child asks of them.”
