DEFINITION

Unbelievable. Surprise at a positive outcome. Also used as a warning to not be scammed, i.e.: if someone offers  you a deal that is too good to  be true, it may  not be true!.

“When he said he would pay me $50 to wash his car, I thought it sounded too good to be true. I was right, he only paid me $15.”
