Awaken. Start the day. Up and at them indicates a need to awaken (not just from bed but from the fog of your illusions) and attack the day.¬† A typical phrase used by a foreman to farm employees or a Sargeant to his soldiers. ‘Em’ means them and implies a task to perform.
