Walk on the Wild Side

Walk on the Wild Side

There are many walks of life; like a union organizer who manages a walk-out, prisoner guard who walks the floor or a therapist who must walk a fine line with patients.

I was taught that one needs to walk before you run, but than I was told I had no walking sense; that infuriated me and I walked away before I was given my walking papers.

I’ve tried to be kind and not walk over others because I try to understand how it is to walk in their shoes. Doing such is no walk in the park I’ll tell you, because I’ve met some people who can’t seem to walk and chew gum at the same time.

When I met my wife, I was walking on air because I worshiped the ground she walked on. Not like some husbands who seem to be the walking dead and need to walk on eggs around their spouse. No sir, because my bride is a walking encyclopedia of every good virtue that I’ve walked away with…or was that without?

Walk tall my friends.

-Wizard.
